Get On A Bike™ organizes events that engage outdoor companies and their employees in bike commuting while participating in a little friendly competition with each other and other companies. To encourage ridership, we give out prizes not only to big winners, but to many participants along the way. We also host mid-event activities and parties and incite some quality, additional competition and camaraderie between companies and riders.

Rush Hour Revolution, the first Get On A Bike™ event, ran for three months from June through August this past summer. The RhR got nearly a hundred participants out riding for distance, most total roundtrips, most bad weather days ridden, and an over all Best of All Three. Nearly 37,500 miles were covered by bike. Over 3,700 rides, including 19 days in bad weather were ridden. And the group saved $149,976.00 dollars in gas and reduced 366.766 total tons of CO2. In just three months.

The next event will be the Dark Ride. We all need a little something extra encouragement to get riding in the gray, drizzly months of winter, and what better reason than another challenge? More details to follow soon.
