Why have we poured ourselves into Get On A Bike™? Really, we could simply have our own private party; ride however far we want to ride with a rewarding cold one at the end, and then heartily pat ourselves on the back in congratulations for our excellent efforts… But where’s the fun in that?

Get On A Bike™ inspires industry companies and their employees to get riding, to practice the active lifestyle we preach on a daily basis, and to make a real difference in our community. Our industry depends on human driven activities to keep it growing, a fact made very real every 2 weeks when our paychecks get doled out. We need to be at the forefront of engaging our staff in alternative, active commutes as part of everyday life, not just weekend hobbies. Additionally, as it has been made (sometimes painfully) clear at the pump and in increasingly long traffic jams, encouraging alternative transportation is key to sustaining an outdoors-focused quality of life and the environments we play in. Of course, we want to have a good time along the way and a little competition and celebration never hurts.

Light the fire at your company and get your coworkers to step up! Winning isn’t the main priority (though who can argue with winning a free bike, tent, jacket, etc) and Get On A Bike™ isn’t just for the most seasoned.
